| We have an apartment right downtown on the water with a view of the harbor and port. |
This is our first Airbnb on the trip and we love it. Very nice to have a market across the street and a washer/dryer! We'll have quite a few more Airbnb apartments and homes as we go on to Australia and later this Spring in Europe.
Yesterday we took a ferry over to Waiheke Island - about 45 minutes from Auckland. This was a relaxing day with quaint charming towns, vineyards and hiking trails.

We did a bit of wine tasting at this vineyard. As the kids were getting a bit impatient, we had to explain that a wine tasting is all about sipping, not guzzling!
